1. Miraj Hammam Spa
SERVICES | Hammam, massage, facials, body care, hands & feet, waxing, wellness retreats |
WEBSITE | https://mirajhammamtoronto.com/ |
ADDRESS | 188 University Ave, Toronto, ON M5H 0A3, Canada |
CONTACT DETAILS | +1 647-253-5770 |
OPERATING HOURS | Monday – Sunday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM |
Miraj Hammam is worth a visit if you are looking for a spa experience that will take you elsewhere. Of course, only if you are prepared to pay a royal price.
Situated within the posh Shangri-La Hotel, the spa fulfils the requirements of an opulent haven. Every service is fit for a king, from its renowned Turkish baths to its hammams with mosaic tiles.
Now that you know that, even if you come here with a friend to divide the cost, the treatments are pricey. If you truly want to treat yourself, though, it is entirely achievable because the price is not so high as to be unaffordable.
You can reserve them for health retreats in addition to the standard body treatments, massages, and facials. These typically consist of at least three services and run for two hours or longer.
We suggest signing up for the $605 City Retreat if you would want to give any of these retreats a try. You already receive a trademark facial, a 90-minute customised massage, plus a mani and pedi with this.
In relation to combination services, you can purchase a package for two and share it with a loved someone or a friend. With this, you can share a massage and facial in addition to spending time in the hammam.
Pros
- Great location and luxurious setting
- Offers wine-inspired treatments called “vinotherapy”
- Offers wellness retreats for solo clients or couples
- Gift cards available
- Offers monthly specials for big discounts
- Receive Moroccan tea & baklava after your session
- Open daily
Cons
- High rates
- Can be difficult to contact on the first try.

Amazing services fit to pamper clients
I spent a relaxing and absolutely amazing experience at Miraj Hammam Spa today. I had the Hot Stones massage and Head massage, from A to Z my experience was all about being pampered and very well serve at the Spa. The Therapist was gorgeous and made magic. Last but not least, I enjoyed the patio to relax under the sun with a nice cup of Maroccan Tea and biscottis.Merci! And see you soon.- Sonia Amichi

A night out for the girls? Why not use the spa’s waters for a restorative treatment reserved for women only?
In addition to having several locations, we appreciate the range of services that Body Blitz provides. The nicest part—and this is a benefit for us—is that the rates are significantly below Toronto’s average.
When you look at its list of services, everything seems to be rather typical for a typical spa. The waterways circuit service would be our choice if we were to choose a favourite among these services.
Since the waters circuit is the main attraction and is included in all spa packages, let us talk about it for a little while. This hydrotherapy consists of several steps: sauna, steam room, hot Epsom salt pool, and dead sea salt pool.
With showers and chilly pool dives in between, the circuit should take roughly ninety minutes to complete. If you want to reduce tension, tone your skin more, and get rid of congestion, we suggest giving this one a try.
If you have any respiratory or heart issues, we suggest trying something else. If everything is well with you, select one of their packages to increase the amount you save for your pamper day.
They include a lot of our favourites on their list, such the Blitz Luxe with the waterways circuit. both a massage and a body treatment. However, reserve the Blitz Ultraluxe if you would want to extend the 60-minute body treatment and massage to a 90-minute session.
In case you need some refreshments, there is a juice bar on the premises. If you are interested in ayurvedic teas and healthy juices, check out their juice bar.
Pros
- All spa packages include a 90-minute waters circuit therapy
- Average prices on all services
- Two locations in Toronto
- Best for those who prefer an all-women’s spa
- Skincare products are available online
- Has a juice bar for refreshments
- Gift cards are available
- Accepts groups of four
Cons
- Closed on Mondays
- Long waiting times during busy seasons
- Groups can be chatty so the place can be noisy at times
- cancellation policy that can cost you up to 50% of your treatment price

Relaxing and comfortable spa
I went for the pool circuit and a body treatment; I loved it. The pool area is nicely lit, relaxing and really clean. It was very quiet when I was in the pools, but note that it got quite busy and less quiet around noon. Overall, staff made me feel very comfortable and I hope to return soon!
Services that rejuvenate the body and soul
Relax and rejuvenate your body and soul! Adelaide West location staff were friendly and attentive. Want some quiet and healing time for yourself? Consider Tuesdays and Thursdays since these days are designated to be silent day. Enjoy the pools, sauna, and yummy heathy juices! Their scrub service is so awesome. Be careful not to be addicted!!! – Jihyun Jeong

Everything you might anticipate from an opulent spa is present at Spa My Blend. It is tucked away inside the Ritz Carlton Hotel and boasts excellent amenities, upscale seating places, and of course, hefty prices.
Still, for those who truly wish to indulge in leisure, it is the ideal piece of heaven. In addition, reservations made on weekdays and outside of holidays typically result in savings of $10 to $30 on services.
Regarding services, we greatly appreciate the extensive range of specialised treatments offered. You have ten alternatives for facials alone, depending on the kind of results you desire. It is a bit overwhelming, but we would rather have variety than anything else.
Although there are many options, they guarantee that every customer’s experience is unique. Furthermore, it is not

Amazing services worth every penny
Throughout the pandemic I’ve been dreaming of taking my pandemic savings and booking a really luxurious treatment. I looked at all the big luxury spas in Toronto and Spa My Blend seemed to be the only place offering interesting treatments (rather than the same old Swedish massage, etc.) that are focused on relaxation instead of correction. I had the Holistic Stress Buster 2-hour treatment that was a combination of a body treatment, massage, and facial. It was like taking a vacation. At $390 it seems expensive, but it’s worth at least twice the price. Natalia was so friendly and down to earth and seemed to have 6 hands! And not once did she comment on the appearance or quality of my skin, which always bums me out at other spas. And no one tried to sell me any products. It was a perfect relaxation experience. I booked it weeks in advance and had the highest expectations and they were exceeded. – Kaori Furue
One of the best atmosphere in Toronto
Every staff is above and beyond with the service here. The atmosphere is absolutely one of the best you could find in Toronto. If you choose to do a massage that’s 60 mins or more, you can enjoy their pool, sauna, hot tubs and shower. I used to go somewhere else for massages, not anymore! For everything you can get here, the price is reasonable and very much worth it. I’d recommend to come with girlfriends and have a spa day here. They also offer food/drinks in the lounge at the spa. Love! – Debbie Lu
4. The Spa at the Old Mill
SERVICES | Facials, manicure & pedicure, body treatments, alternative therapy, hair removal, massage therapy |
WEBSITE | https://www.spaoldmill.ca/ |
ADDRESS | 9 Old Mill Rd, Etobicoke, ON M8X 1G5, Canada |
CONTACT DETAILS | +1 416-232-3700 spa@oldmilltoronto.ca |
OPERATING HOURS | Monday – Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (for boutique and bookings only) Wednesday – Sunday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM |
Upon visiting several contemporary spas in Toronto, the Spa at the Old Mill feels like a welcome change of pace. The vintage characteristics of this place make every visit seem like a journey through time.
Old-fashioned settings are those that seem like they belong in a Jane Austen book, not that they are antiquated. And you should check this site out if that is the kind of tranquilly you are after.
Their services are rather normal, therefore nothing particularly exceptional should be expected. The majority of the expenditures are within the city’s average, thus they are also not very expensive.
Instead, we enjoyed the packages they provide, which are customised for singles, couples, and males.
We advise ladies to splurge on the $531 Queen for a Day package. A wrap, a facial, mani and pedi, and a 4-hour, 30-minute Swedish massage are all included in the package.
There are just two options available for men: one with a pedicure and one without. Consider whether or not you also want to get a power wash pedicure on that day because the pricing difference is rather large.
There are just two package options available to you if you are travelling as a couple, but they range significantly. Make a reservation for the Together 4 Ever ($716) if you want head-to-toe treatment.
Choose the Time Together package instead if all you want is a massage and facial. Given that it only costs $472 and lasts for roughly two hours, fitting it into a hectic day is simple.
Pros
- European-style and romantic setting for a spa
- Average prices on services
- Comprehensive packages for men, women, and couples
- Gift certificates are available
- Offers promotions on skincare products
- online store is available to shop skincare and bath products
- Online booking is available for certain services
Cons
- Cancels appointments without reaching out first at times
- online booking system tends to glitch at times

One of the best places to get a massage
I just got back from a prenatal massage at The Spa at the Old Mill and I wish I had booked a longer session! It was my first time visiting, but immediately upon parking, you’re welcomed by the most beautiful set of buildings that transport you to some little European village. The reception was lovely, and the RMT was very welcoming and attentive. I had no issues during the session at all; it was honestly one of the best massages I’ve received. It felt very safe with all the covid protocols in place and I was pleasantly surprised to know that the RMT was not only wearing a mask but also a face shield and gloves. It was a very comfortable experience and I will definitely be going back! Incia Khalid
Kind and gentle service
I just wanted to make note of Annetta and her excellence. I had my first facial 3 days ago, and while the Old Mill Spa is very lovely, she is what made the experience so great for me. She was such a kind and gentle person; she made me feel very comfortable and was so knowledgeable on the products she was using (and taught me a thing or two about my own skin). I just thought she was amazing. I would return in a heartbeat and request her. Rose Debono

Elmwood Spa made our ranking by fulfilling a lot of our favourite spa qualities. The location is excellent, the packages are outstanding, and the overall experience is wonderful.
Let us go over the factors that make them among the greatest in the city.
To begin with, we love its spa packages. Packages are available for expecting mothers, couples, and groups of friends.
Of course, if a retreat is not what you are after, you can still get individual services. They provide all the typical spa treatments, such as massages and facials, but they also provide something that other spas don’t.
They provide hair treatments, waxing, threading, makeup services, and haircuts among other beauty services. Because of this, we believe it is a good spot to visit if you ever need a fast repair to update your appearance.
Our top pick is the spa dining experience, which is ideal for friends or couples going out on the town. You can add an outside setting with a view of the city and a three-course lunch for just $45 when you upgrade your service.
We suggest the location for upcoming mothers and birthday celebrants in addition to dates. Because even the most expensive bundle did not go beyond $370, we really like the package options you have.
Just so you know, it can be challenging to schedule them over the phone before you call. Because of the location’s considerable fame, expect hectic times even on weekdays.
Pros
- Great spa packages for solo clients, couples, pregnant women, and men
- Has extra beauty services, from haircuts to waxing
- A three-course spa dining experience with an outdoor setting
- Offers specials to get discounts
- A la carte spa packages
- Open daily
Cons
- Rates for individual services are slightly higher than average
- It can be difficult to book over the phone
- Can be busy even on weekdays

Amazing value for the overall experience
I booked a package for my friend and I called Spa and Savour. Carol was really helpful on the phone. It was great value for the experience; we both had a three-course lunch on the beautiful terrace. They had delicious vegan options for each course without needing to make any modifications so that was greatly appreciated. The water therapies were great and Covid Protocols were everywhere and made me feel comfortable. My friend and I had aromatherapy massages; they were so relaxing and my therapist, Francis, was really good at working on my problem areas and made some suggestions to help long-term. Thank you! I highly recommend and will be back. Jennifer Mv
rejuvenating experience for friends
I had an amazing girl’s day at the spa here. They were able to accommodate our group of 5 for a full day of pampering. They were having an amazing summer special and I enjoyed a 50-minute massage and 25-minute facial, along with the water therapies. We also enjoyed a light snack and the bar. I felt so rejuvenated. I will definitely go back!—Angelique Thompson

Customer Reviews
Extremely pleasing results
“After getting a referral from a friend after struggling for years with stubborn facial hair, I can say that the hair has subsided substantially! Less hair meant fewer bumps and discoloration; my complexion has never looked clearer. they took the time to analyse my skin type and put together a successful schedule for treatments.
I also used their truSculpt services after struggling to bounce back physically from a biking accident. Exactly 3 months after the treatment, the belly fat just melted off (with continued physical activity, of course)! I will be going for a touch-up at summer’s end but so far, I am extremely pleased with the results.
I will never leave this clinic. Keisha Phoenixx
Extremely knowledgeable staff
“I’ve been going to Ici Paris for many treatments, including laser hair removal, brow lamination, and lash tint and lift, and have nothing but good things to say. The staff is continuously kind and helpful when educating me on their treatment offerings based on my concerns. They are extremely knowledgeable about their treatments and skin care products. I am so happy with all my results. I would recommend anyone visit Ici Paris and learn more about not only their treatment offerings but also the skin care products they carry, including medical-grade skin care for optimal results. My skin has drastically changed for the better with the help of their esthetician’s and front staff’s recommendations.” Natalie Pistillo
Factors to Consider When Choosing a Spa
Choosing a spa might be hard, especially for those who have never been to one. There are a lot of things you need to consider in order to get the most out of the money you’ll spend:
Here are some factors that can help you consider which spa to go to:
Environment
Consider whether you can feel at ease and relaxed in the spa’s surroundings by taking some time to evaluate it. After all, a significant portion of the experience is the atmosphere.
Some spas have a website with images of their facilities. It may not provide the same sensation as being in a spa, but it can give you a general idea of what to expect.
Services
A spa’s service menu is usually available online and/or in a brochure that you pick up when you go. Examine their services for a while to see if they offer the kind of service you require.
Choosing a good spa should be based on whether or not they offer the services that your body requires. It makes no sense to visit a spa if they are unable to offer the services you require.
Experience
The level of experience of their practitioners is the next item you should think about. Do they have years of experience in the industry, or are they just starting out?
To help their clients make decisions, some spas list the information about their practitioners on their websites. Additionally, while inexperienced practitioners aren’t always a bad thing, it’s preferable to work with someone who has a lot of experience.
Customer Reviews
The final thing you may want to think about is what their clients have to say. When evaluating this issue, some websites such as Google Reviews are a good place to start, but you can also ask around.
Gaining insight into their past clientele’s opinions and evaluating them can help you determine how well they will handle you. This can assist you in reducing your options and even helping you identify the best one.
